We usually try to get up here to Lake Tahoe at least once a year. It’s just such a beautiful place! The scenery is breathtaking , the air is crisp and clean and there’s no end of possibilities for enjoying the great outdoors.

The Journey is The Destination!

We love the journey! It starts with a dream or an idea or just a curiosity. Hearing my clients talk about far away places , exotic sights, sounds and flavors ! My mind begins to wonder. I dream of jungles and beaches with soft white sand and warm water, old historic architecture , cobbled streets crowded with merchants selling thier goods. Foods I’ve never tasted, smelled, or even heard of. Even the animals, bugs, Butterfly’s and birds lure my imagination to faraway places.

A “Quick” Thought…..I know what your probably thinking, “Thank God !”, Cuz’ I’m usually sooo long winded with my posts!

As we’ve been working so hard to ready our house to sell and to move our lives to a foreign land we have to stop and remind ourselves to remain balanced. With this in mind, we decided to pack up our trusty kayak and head to the hills! Lake Tahoe , that is!! I’ll be working tues-thurs and on Friday off we’ll go to paddle our hearts out and take in the beauty of the pine trees, the mountains and that glorious lake.

While we were enjoying the sights of 17 Mile Drive in Carmel yesterday, it made me realize that we will soon be discovering different types of beautiful scenery . So let’s soak up all our favorites and get set to say “Adios” to the beauty around us and “Hola!” to what waits to be discovered! Who knows what exciting adventures await our trusty kayak in Panama!

Carmel By The Sea!

Scott had a golf tournament today at Poppy Hills on 17 Mile Drive. A beautiful setting! I had a great time hanging out in the clubhouse . Here’s a few pictures.

Comfort…..What Gives You Comfort?

Routine, schedule, predictability,stability and familiarity ? These are the first adjectives that come to my mind when I pose this query to myself. Familiar people, places and things make me feel a certain amount of comfort. A routine that I can predict is also vastly comforting . A place to call, my home, to me creates a feeling of comfort beyond description! I do love my Home! So with this very clear , specific list in mind, I wonder, why would I abandon all these very comforting aspects of life as I know it ? Hmmmmm? That’s a very good question?……. Let’s see if I can articulate that as I write this post…….

Bittersweet Changes

When we set our sights on making this gigantic life change we knew it would not be easy. We did also consider that it my not be easy for our family members either. Although we had no doubt that everyone who loves us would always want us to pursue a life that made us happy. And to know me and Scott is to know that we are happiest when we are exploring opportunities on our terms. We rarely choose to follow the same path that everyone else is on, doing things in our own way is where we find the most joy!

The Hollyween Purge Begins!🎃

As October is fast approaching it’s time to start preparing my Hollyween decorations for the “Great Hollyween Yard Sale!”. You may or may not know this about me , I’m a Halloween fan , not just an ordinary Halloween fan, a FANATIC!

People ask,” What’s your plan once you get to Boquete ?”. Well…… We reserve the right to go with the flow, but to the best of our ability we have loosely concocted a plan. Our plans could change or alter slightly or it could maybe turn out just as we have imagined, or it could be nothing at all that we planned but even better, time will tell. But, so far, here’s what we hope to do.
