A Great Day In The City!

Scott an I were invited to go sailing in San Francisco today with some very special people. Bare with me as I attempt to briefly explain our connection.

I must first tell those of you who don’t know me well that my dear Father, who I adored more than words can describe, passed away 18 years ago. Family dynamics are a complicated story that I won’t expand upon , but my Dads sister from Colorado, Geri , was visiting California . She has a cousin who lives in Benicia Mike, who owns a sailboat . For no real reason that I can explain, aside from time simply flying by much too quickly, I have not seen these wonderful family members in many years! It was a delight to reconnect with them , unfortunately we didn’t get to sail because the fog was just not cooperating so we opted for a spontaneous day wondering around in the city instead! And I had a fabulous time reconnecting with them. It was a joy to spend the day reminiscing and sharing time together.

About hollycarter184

Life is Good! But it's time for a change, and more adventure! I'd like to share the whole experience of preparing then actually making a reality of expatriating, and moving to a new country. It's an exciting, and slightly scary move full of possibility . I'm looking forward to learning a new language and making new connections with the people who share our spirit of adventure. This blog is my way of continuing my connection with my friends and family in the States. Sooooo here it goes! :)
