Life is Good! But it's time for a change, and more adventure! I'd like to share the whole experience of preparing then actually making a reality of expatriating, and moving to a new country. It's an exciting, and slightly scary move full of possibility . I'm looking forward to learning a new language and making new connections with the people who share our spirit of adventure. This blog is my way of continuing my connection with my friends and family in the States. Sooooo here it goes! :)

  1. Loss of life in any circumstance is heart breaking but worse when senseless killing occurs.. When I opened to site was amazed to see flag created as memorial, Take a look at the Australian Aboriginal Flag Gave me goose bumps..

    • Thanks for mentioning this. I had never heard of or seen the Australian Aboriginal Flag (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_Aboriginal_Flag) but I like it, and the meanings in its colors. Fortunately, nothing about their flag represents war or bloodshed, as in some national flags. It’s all about life.

Black: Represents the Aboriginal people of Australia
Red: Represents the red earth, the red ochre and a spiritual relation to the land
Yellow: Represents the Sun, the giver of life and protector
