Milquiburger!
Everyone, and I do mean EVERYONE, has told us how delicious the fried chicken is here! Scott is sick today so I had to fend for myself, Yikes! The obvious solution was , yep, Milquiburger! It did not disappoint ! Poor Scott will have to try it another time. Which means I had my maiden voyage out all by myself. Until now we have been attached at the hip , so it was really good for me to go alone to the market to buy Scott some Chicken soup and some crackers for his sick tummy. Plus I got to drive the new truck for the first time. I only had one little snafooo when I tried to shift from 3rd to 4th, oops I got 2nd instead of 4th! Yikes! It’s been forever since I have driven a stick-shift. But I made it! Cheers!!
Midnight seems to be adjusting much better than Copper. Any noise at all and Copper runs for cover. Midnight is much more affectionate and social. Copper will most likely feel comfy just as we are ready to move to our new house. Poor guy…

Valenversary Dinner!
Valentines happens to also be our Anniversary so, Valenversary it is! Scott managed to cook up a delightful lobster taco dinner with shrimp cocktail and of course I made my famous guacamole ! Topped off with a good bottle of wine and served up on the coffee table in front of the almost finished entertainment center and we were two happy customers! 13 years for us and boy do we have many many more adventurous years to look forward to. Cheers!
Happy Valentines Day To All!

FAST FOOD! I realize there will be plenty of opportunity to be bad in Panama but since we are throwing caution to the wind… What the Hay!!! It’s been a loooooong time since I’ve eaten at a fast food restaurant and I must admit, it was pretty yummy!! I know “Bad Holly!!!” I just Love being Bad, don’t you? Just once in awhile! Ok…. I just realized, in this picture you can see that Scott is eating a SALAD!! Lol! What a trader! I chose fries for my side and he ordered a SALAD!!! What??? I thought we were both BAD!! Well, the truth is out! …. Whatever ! Ha!Ha!

Something I love in my salon!
This is a very special piece of artwork on the wall of the bathroom in my salon. It was hand painted by a dear man who was a family friend from my childhood . His name is Bob Mutzenburg, he is a very talented artist who specialized in custom pin-striping on cars as well as painting signage for businesses .When I was 16 he did something very special for me that always makes me smile when I think of it. I had this bright orange Chevy Vega Wagon that I loved, Bob showed up at my house and took my precious car without any explanation ! I was so confused and had no idea why he would do such a thing! After several hours Bob returned with my car, he had pin-striped it as a gift! It was beautiful and I was thrilled! So having a piece of Bob’s artwork in my salon to look at everyday has been a gift I have cherished !
Back To Work!
It’s a fresh new year and my first day back in the salon in 2013! I spent this morning ( from 7:00-12:00) emailing my clients their schedule for their hair appointments for this year😔. I’m scheduled to work until June 1. Seeing how few appointments each person has with me is quite a reality check ! YIKES! I’m REALLY doing this, huh? Yep! Looks like it! 😁 I can tell this is gonna be tough! There’s a pretty high probability that there are about to be many tears! I’ll get the Kleenex out😭😂😢😓😥😰😅

Fireworks at the festival
They fill these paper balloon things with fire then just let them float off into the sky! The sky above the park is filled with these colorful things ! So cool!
Just a pretty tree in the park
A couple of them actually floated into the church!
Scott choosing some sweets…. Hard to decide, it all looked so yummy!
this is one of those structures that has the fireworks on it. They light it up and those pinwheels spin around!
