what a cute greeting! i hope that you had a great holiday; with each day that passes, you’re one day closer to your move! enjoy those that you love, overdose on things you think you might miss (like crushed ice!-ja!) and enjoy each day of your life’s journey! (you seem to have a strong grasp on the final one!)
Thanks for the sound advice and wonderful encouragement ! I’ll start the overdosing on my favorites pronto! I want to look back on this time and feel good about my preparations and have no regrets about the things I should have done. Life is good! Cheers!
i’ll never forget one rainy season in costa rica.. we were having a brutal one, as hurricane after hurricane barreled through the caribbean and moisture was pulled from the west (pacific) to the north east and of course across us… i was stranded in town w/a nother torrential rain. my feet were wet.. my clothes were wet.. i was tired of mud and clothes that would never dry and i was at a bar (one of two places in that village) and watching (?) an american sports something.. the television paused for a commercial, and there was a burger king commercial, showing a soft bun and thick burger and french fries and coke on ice and i thought, ‘oh… how i wish i had that!’
i really never cared for thick burger king burgers, but at that moment, i missed that (junk?) food so much!
now i can laugh.. it’s part of growing!!!!
